For two days only, Friday evening, September 25th, and all day Saturday, September 26th, Art & Sol Tattoo is doing something that has never been done in the history of Tucson.

We are taking our equipment, our artists, and dozens of brand new flash designs out of the studio and setting up shop inside the historic Westward Look Resort.

But we aren’t setting up just anywhere on the property.

We get to work in the exact room where Hollywood legend John Wayne stayed whenever he came to Tucson.

Think about that for a second.

While you’re getting tattooed, you’ll be standing in the very same room where “The Duke” kicked off his boots, looked out into the Catalinas, and soaked up the sunshine and the spirit of the real American West.

It is a rare piece of Tucson lore. And for one weekend only, it’s where you can get a world class tattoo.

The $50 “Good Karma” Deal

Every custom flash design created for this event is normally priced higher, but for this weekend, we’ve set a flat event price of $100.

However, we want to completely flood the shelves of local Tucson food pantries before the fall season hits. So, we’re making you a direct deal:

For every can of non-perishable food you bring to the John Wayne Room, we will knock $10 OFF the price of your tattoo…. up to 5 cans total.

  • Bring 1 can -> Pay $90
  • Bring 2 cans -> Pay $80
  • Bring 3 cans -> Pay $70
  • Bring 4 cans -> Pay $60
  • Bring 5 cans -> Pay JUST $50!

Every $1 cash donation counts as 1 can of credit (up to $50 off).

Here’s why that matters right here in Pima County: Local food distribution networks have massive bulk purchasing power. A single cash dollar allows the community food bank to provide 3 meals. Whether you bring 5 cans of soup or hand over a $5 bill, you are directly funding meals for homebound seniors and struggling families in our immediate neighborhoods.

Dozens of Exclusive Designs (Available Only in the Duke’s Room)

Our artist Julia has spent weeks drawing dozens of exclusive flash pieces prepared specifically for this event.

We’re talking fine-line Southwestern designs, classic american traditional, and many more designs.

Food and drinks are available in the hotel restaurant!

Here Is the Catch (Read This Carefully)

We only have a limited number of tattooing chairs available per hour.

Once our schedule fills up, we physically cannot squeeze another person into the schedule.

Here are the strict event hours:

  • FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25th: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (4 Hours Only)
  • SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (12 Hours Only)

That is a total window of just 16 hours.

Walkins will be accepted on a first come, first served basis as time allows,…but if you show up without an appointment, you risk standing around a gorgeous property with a great restaurant and views or missing out entirely if there is a really long wait.
